Corylus avellana 'Contorta' – Commonly known as Harry Lauder’s Walking Stick, this deciduous shrub is prized for its twisted, contorted branches that provide strong winter interest.

• Flower Color:

  • Produces golden-yellow catkins (male flowers) in late winter to early spring

  • Tiny, red female flowers are present but not showy

• Foliage:

  • Green, broad leaves that may appear slightly twisted

  • Turns golden yellow in the fall
